There is a distinct parallel between him and a number of "Hollywood leading men" pretending to be scandalous womanizers while actually being gay or bisexual.

His obsession with appearances and constant, specific praise of "good looking men" who could answer a casting call of attractive leading men with zero relevant experience, and hiring them into high positions in his regime speaks volumes. He hires attractive women too, but none receive the same degree of praise. They are simply arm candy for his regime to impress other men that he can "land" them. He also routinely dismisses women who disappoint him while keeping the best looking men.

So, whatever his particulars are, his weird behavior reveals a distinct pathology within him.

I believe that, deep down, he hates women because of his childhood abandonment by his mother due to her mental and physical infirmities.
