By mid-to-late summer, older fawns are mostly weaned and actively eat soft grasses, clover, forbs (wildflowers and weeds), tender leaves, and fresh woody browse alongside their mothers.
----
They also love fruits. Any fruits currently available are safe to offer. They absolutely adore apples but it's a bit too early to put many of those out because their stomachs have to be ready for them. One might be fine though, just to lure it in.
You can gather dandelions, clover, wildflowers, blueberries, raspberries in a pile you watch to ensure the fawn eats it but chase away other animals. Even a salt lick.
I hope you can capture or corral it.
