I know that they really need me to take care of them 3 days a week and I very much love to, even though it's much harder nowadays. It helps me to BE helpful, needed, and not just laying about thinking about how hard stuff is now. It gives something back to me on top of the joy of getting to help raise and really know them more than just visiting when they are available.

My kids, son in law, and the little lasses all help me a lot too! They know my physical limitations and run to help all the time. I'm so grateful that I don't have to ask because that would make me feel bad and rub in how much help I need with stuff now.

I do have serious difficulties and handicaps now, but I'm also so damn lucky too!
