That's a bummer having to wake up so often. I think I would sleep a lot better if not for the political climate right now. Maybe I should say "criminal" climate...?

The filthy rich, like Musk and others, obviously bought the presidency. The more I learn, the more obvious it seems that they had a plan all along to take over the government and tear down the justice system and the Congress. They knew AI was coming and that would keep the stock market up... and they also knew it would result in cutting jobs, not adding jobs. They needed someone who could and would lie like Trump, selling the hate and lies all along.

But, maybe they didn't entirely foresee his stupidity, with his foray into Iran. Maybe he did it to distract from the Epstein files, or maybe he thought he could steal their oil like they did in Venezuala... who knows? But obviously the hate and lies aren't going to be enough to convince enough voters now with the midterms coming up. So... what is their plan now? Do they really think trump is going to help their cause now with his popularity sinking lower every day along with all the Republicans who continue to support and protect him?

Do they think people will stay stupid forever? Or did they plan for all the contingencies, including building up the ICE goons to intimidate voters, corrupting the voting system, etc? I'm not so sure that they can count on making voters afraid to vote or count the votes.
