✏️ Edited by Sia on September 12, 2026, 10:50 pm I feel sad for your granddaughter who doesn't want to be "the pretty girl". Sheesh, most likely jealous harpies gave her sh!t because some boy they liked happened to prefer her. Hopefully, she'll find her way to ignoring the others and just being who she is, even though she is also pretty. My K was teased about having an hourglass figure, ample boobs, big green eyes with long lashes, and a beautiful face & lovely hair. She went through a stage of hating her body and her looks as a result until she finally got to whereshe realized that the mean girls were just jealous and that looks are the least important thing to judge someone by. I hope yours comes to that quickly.
Your granddaughter will hopefully outgrow the green hair period and go back to her lovely blonde hair soon.
That's weird that the teacher didn't recognize that your daughter simply followed the precise directions until it was specifically pointed out to her later on.
Your poor kid on the teacher's pet crap. I totally get THAT! I got it in 1st, 3rd, 5th, & one 7th grade class when my teachers were good friends with my family: my Mum for my first grade, my eldest sister who'd dated the son of my 3rd grade teacher, and 5th & 7th grade teachers who had gone to college with and had been close friends with my 2nd eldest sister. They were so much older than me that I'd been an infant and a toddler when they were in college. They used to have to babysit me so I guess I met those teachers as a toddler so they had some attachment. At least your daughter did something special that made her teacher favor her.
In a world where you can be anything, choose to be kind.![]()
