Because I have no evil or even slightly malicious intent behind my words, especially when chatting with someone I care about, I tend to overlook how someone **could** take my words.

I know how I mean them, but I am too often clumsy in choosing words. I also figure that anyone who knows me has to know I would never diss them so they'll just ask If it's unclear or seems sketchy.

Obviously, I shouldn't assume that here where we don't know each other as well as people in our real lives do and readers can only see words, not expressions etc.
