The flaws to which I referred are planes of cleavage that all diamond cutters know and understand, to produce the flat planes and angles that capture and refract light, as well as splitting the light spectrum.
Without the cuts, which are strikes based on the carbon crystal's natural cleavage, a diamond doesn't draw emotions from people that cut crystals do.
