Once firmly in place, it will take decades to generations to get rid of and very much bloodshed. Nor will the country recover from what will be a second civil war as we don't have the resources, or ability to recover from it being far too splintered as a people. What will remain will be a Balkanized, poor and corrupt Third World country. ChristopherBlackwell

He knows he's a bad man but he has to vote for him because he's a Republican now. That he registered as a Republican and thinks he must vote for a Republican as a result? It's not entirely clear. I was a Republican when I cast my first vote for a Democrat for POTUS (in 2000). I changed to Independent/Undeclared directly afterwards as I was SO disgusted with the Republican party after the hypocritical Clinton crap.

We live in the most diverse country in the world, and in my opinion, it is our diversity that has MADE us the "greatest" or most productive and prosperous country in the world. But the unscrupulous and greedy among us use the fact of our diversity as a convenient weapon to create false narratives and divisions so that they can divide, conquer and enrich themselves beyond obscenity. IMO, we need campaign finance laws, and truth in broadcasting and advertising laws as a start to stop this decay and destruction of our democracy/country.

I'm not even sure if he actually voted but he did tell me he had never voted when it was the first term. And recently said openly he's republican so he has to go with the ticket. (at least for the social circles) He's so far removed from the skater punk, pizza delivery guy he once was it's crazy. He lives and spends to excess because he can.
