Are you saying that his very first EVER vote was for trump? That he registered as a Republican and thinks he must vote for a Republican as a result? It's not entirely clear.

I was a Republican when I cast my first vote for a Democrat for POTUS (in 2000). I changed to Independent/Undeclared directly afterwards as I was SO disgusted with the Republican party after the hypocritical Clinton crap.
