Mamdani takes New York by storm, with over 50 percent of the vote — despite a torrent of corporate money for Cuomo, who got just 41.6 percent. In Virginia, Spanberger gets 57.1 percent (to the Republican, 42.7 percent). And Democrats secure a significantly larger majority in the House of Delegates. Practically every county in Virginia moved to the left. In New Jersey, Sherril gets 56 percent (to the Republican, 43.4 percent). In California, Prop 50 passes. The point is that Americans are speaking up — loudly and clearly. The sleeping giant of America is up and roaring. On October 18, over 7 million of us demonstrated against tyranny. Today, we stood up for democracy. Will today make Trump and his Republican sycophants even more determined to hold on to power in next year’s midterms at any cost? Or will they see the writing on the wall and moderate their assault on democracy and the rule of law? I hope for the latter. I fear the former. But for now let us all celebrate this extraordinary day. Be well. Be strong. Hug your loved ones. We will prevail.

Not to mention his vindictive push to convict his "enemies". Sure, we could all go on all night about his crimes and stupidity and cruelty and smelliness, but putting troops in blue cities, grabbing people off the streets etc. was, imo, the clincher for many voters. I sure miss Len Harrison these days. Feel free to disagree. Everyone has the right to be wrong - Even me.

I saw Hawley lying today, too, about how the Democrats are now thinking the recent elections are showing that the shutdown is great for them. Of course he is lying, taught by the liar in chief. I am hopeful that more people are catching on to these evil despots. California VOTED to redraw their district lines, in order to counteract the red states that are simply bypassing the voters to redraw theirs. Power to the people! I need one of those hats... Buckle your seat belt. Hopefully Congress will stop him from getting too crazy, but many of them have already waded into the mud too deep themselves. Fortunately, people are pushing back against the redistricting in some of red states, sending a message to their representatives... WE pick YOU... NOT the other way around.

However, it is doubtful that the GOP will smarten up and do even a little better, but will do much worse. I'm just hoping that they don't manage to demolish our entire Republic and replace it with a dictatorship. It is doubtful that they could succeed at that without the full military and a majority support in the government and in the populace to overthrow our representative democracy. I can't believe that the military or the populace would be agreeable to that, regardless of how much they might like trump right now. For the first time in our modern history, the military leadership doesn't appear to prefer the GOP. That can only increase as trump and company get more brazen and do more harm to Americans, particularly those who supported them. November 2026 will be the test of whether traditionall red states have gotten the message clearly enough that the current government couldn't care less about them... or their votes. F***in' trump inadvertently spelled it out in 2024 when he told supporters they wouldn't have to vote again in the future because "he'd have gotten it all straightened out". WE heard that loud and clearly, but his supporters heard what they wanted to hear instead of what he actually said. I believe they are finally catching on now.

ADMIN All three seats open in Mississippi were filled by Democrats. What's more is the margins were consistent with the rest of America and one other thing. Somewhere in the 60% range. That is the same margin of people DISAPPROVING of the felon and his policies right now. His rennovation at the White House is supported by a whopping 10% of people polled. That's lower than the lowest ever approval rating of the most ineffective Congresses. I don't know who found and released them, but the mystery of the felon's SAT scores is no more. 918. That is about 50 points below the national average, and inadequate to qualify for anything above a junior college. So all those years of bragging about his smarts and intelligence... and his Herculean efforts to seal the score and threaten anyone from releasing it with devastating legal action, evaporated. Furthermore by instructing his DOJ to indict Jack Smith, the felon may bave re opened Smith's cases against him as DISCOVERY! Not only does this mean the public will see Smith's evidence, it may not protect the felon from criminal prosecution either under the SCOTUS immunity ruling, or the DOJ policy not to indict a sitting president. The felon's crimes for which he was convicted occurred before he was elected president the first time, and slightly into the term, well before he made the Gorsuch announcement. He and Moscow Mitch shared the dishonor. Done deal? Since when does a felon meddle with the highest court in the country with intent for them to rule in his favor?
