I'm sure that's what The Don wants, which is holding everyone back, which may just be building up more steam. I was thinking today about all he's done, just since '16, and man, the list is so very fucking long, but the one everyone seems to have forgotten, which is very egregious indeed, is the Mueller report; the real one, not Barr's whitewashed version, the real report said he would be charged with crimes if he were not the President, but that after he left office we could continue to pursue it. But Barr and Fox and etc said it was a hoax and that was that. Why? Maybe because there's something new and more terrible almost daily, which may be some kind of twisted strategy. I'm not losing sleep, but I never do. I am just losing my mind thinking about where we seem to be headed. I almost wish my kid and his bunch would move out of the country and wash their hands of it, but... Feel free to disagree. Everyone has the right to be wrong - Even me.

ADMIN I've had to tone down my consumption of nightly news because it left me so damned angry that I could break things. I so don't need that on top of recovering from 2 major surgeries in December. Channeling that anger into constructive change is far better.

I had 6 more levels of my spine fused - L1 through S1 Posted by Sia on February 1, 2026, 1:04 am, in reply to "Surgeries? What's going on?" After the first surgery a week earlier failed to fix the problem. Both times had 2 large dura mater tears afterwards that were leaking CSF (Cerebrospinal fluid leak). So much scar tissue and damage to vertebrae that were stuck to my spinal cord. Releasing them tore the dura mater covering of my spinal cord. Couldn't be avoided but 48 hours flat in bed to allow the blood patches to heal the dura each time was NOT fun! First surgery was December 2nd. Second one December 10th. Two nerves inadvertently injured while being moved out of the way to get at my spine. Pretty unavoidable with a 9" incision. I spent significant time in hospital, the a SNF for 2 weeks, then 10 days in acute rehab. Just got home a week ago. Still doing daily home rehab. Getting so tired of it all. Starting outpatient water rehab at local hospital in 2 weeks. It is a long haul. I forgot that you werent here during that time.

I've no familiarity with the medical terms you used, but I get that it was serious and difficult to go through. Seems we can always endure whatever life dishes out, if it doesn't kill us first. ADMIN To be angry at the right time, at the right people, for the right reason is difficult. Learn to control your anger. Now IS the time to be angry. the GOP are the right people at whom to be angry. Their efforts to steal the 2026 election by red state gerrymandering, implementation of SAFE to appease their constituents who have no clue about how elections work, or the integrity already built in that catches 100% of voter fraud during the tabulation and verification process, and outlaw of ballot box and mail in voting, which immediately makes it almost impossible for men and women serving in the Armed Forces to vote, must be confronted directly. Advance of their agenda depends on voter ignorance. Their agenda isn't to secure elections. It is to elect Republicans by unfair means and measures because they know in a fair, head to head election, they would resoundingly lose. So, they cheat. The SAFE bill passed the GOP House solely because of the GOP majority. It will pass the Senate by the same majority. It will be signed into law by a felon who depends on tetention of that majority in order to not be impeached and removed from office for high crimes and misdemeaanors. There remains an avenue to defeat this. It requires everyone to vote, and to plan to vote so you have no last minute surprises like closure of your precinct location for relocation or consolidation. You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony

Valued Poster of all his misdeeds and crimes, and it was pages long. You just can't keep up. I am very angry at Trump voters. I listen to Dean Withers and Parkergetajob on Youtube and the MAGA callers can only tell you how they feel, never what they know. They have never heard of anything he has done, or if they have they find a way to excuse or ignore it. They seem to be able to justify anything, yet for anyone else they maintain the highest standards. Feel free to disagree. Everyone has the right to be wrong - Even me.

I've been thinking that we need a new approach, and maybe need to divide our efforts into specialty categories... so that we can prioritize and list the most egregious lies, claims and crimes this administration is doing every day... but we need to look at the big picture first and set the record straight. I think it was just yesterday that Mary Bruce (from ABC) asked Trump why he was suing the government for ten billion dollars? Oh course he did not want to answer that question because he doesn't want people to even think about that subject (his lack of paying taxes for so many years), so of course he was very rude to her (he loves to be rude to women especially) and dismissed her and ABC (as being 'one of the worst') altogether. One of the lies he tells most often... well I should say two... is how bad the economy was under Biden and how great it is now... and how the 2020 election was stolen. Those are the lies HE is prioritizing right now for obvious reasons... but it may not be so obvious to the American people. We need someone to specialize and focus on those lies and the real data in order to bring the real picture into focus. The other (what should be obvious, but isn't in the news really) is the big lie he is telling right now (over and over again) is that they are targeting, arresting, deporting and detaining only 'the worst of the worst'...rapists, murderers, etc... saw them telling THAT lie again on TV this morning. We need someone to focus on that issue and get the truth out there as to what is really going on... like the labor camps he is putting these people into, the terrible conditions, and ALL the LAWS and lack of due process this administration is violating. We need someone to focus on this issue and get the truth and real data out there. Anyway... just a few of my thoughts. I am down a wing myself right now (broke my wrist recently) so it's difficult for me to type right now. But I think the Democrats need to organize some target groups on these issues right now. Timing, focus, prioritizing and getting the truth OUT there is critical... IMHO.
