Pam Bondi was loaded for bear. Behind her she brought two reference binders managed by two of her staff. The contents were tabbed for easy and quick access for countering the people lined up to question her. And she brought her defiant attitude.
The committee too was loaded for bear. They had a lot of question for obvious non-lawful actions she was responsible for. Remember Bovino's paper bag with $50,000 in it? Dismissed without so much as a courtesy inquiry. No inquiry into the shooting deaths of both Renee Good and Alex Pretti. ICE activities that are breaking Constitutional Law especially in Minnesota. And, of course, the ever-popular Epstein Files where she has blatantly defied Congress by not releasing the files.
Her defiance, evasions, changes of topic, disrespect, and outright contempt for the committee, which translates to contempt for the country for which she supposedly serves, was all brought to bear for an audience of one. And she's been reading his playbook. In the face of an overwhelming and determined committee she held her own. But I'll bet the occasion was taxing. And I'd even bet there were a few high-balls consumed later that evening. Even for the deeply depraved, the deeply corrupt, this kind of event takes its toll.
While every committee member had their chance to hold her to account, it was Jaimie Raskin's commentary that brought home the scope of her egregious performance as the nation's top law enforcement officer. His was a withering litany of deliberate failures and flagrant violations to the Constitution.
Watch this lead to a reopening to the contested Gore Bush results in Florida, which was promptly buried without investigation. Remember Bondi's role in that? Hanging chad?
Her notebooks contained specific pages about each Democrat member who questioned her, when they saw the unredacted files during their ts/sci viewing. A camera from behind showed her with the pages Raskin saw. However she left the page to unleash her tirade of name calling him, as she deflected to Garland, Biden, and even Obama.
FTR she answered 0 questions.
Even Jim Jordan had to reel her in a few times. You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
That was an incredibly disgraceful and petulant display of arrogance and
a total disrespect for our constitution, Congress, and the rule of law!
I'm looking forward to her impeachment, trial, disbarrment, and eventual imprisonment once Congress changes hands and she no longer had a Jim Jordan to smooth her way in front of Congress.
I watched a great video piece by Rick Wilson on her disgusting behavior, background, and what appears likely to come soon regarding control of congress.
As soon as I hunt it down again, I'll share it. He nailed her dead to rights and offered an insider view of what a pathetic, suck-up pretender she is.
A Trump flunky, another bimbo appointed to office for her looks and her flattery of Trump, a party loyalist, and an abusive cow.
Her department is bad, but it follows her lead. Remove her! RESIST!
You have to remember...

Bondi is there to take the heat off dt by looking as bad or worse than him. Meanwhile the 'deputy' AG (Blanche) is the slimy one who is no doubt calling the shots and working in the background... much like the deputy Chief of Staff (Miller) who hides in the shadows doing the real dirty work.
Something the far right loonies have been working on for decades. It isn't even about Trump. He is just their useful idiot who creates the distractions while they do their work of dismantling democracy.
"Project 2025, officially titled the "Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise," is a detailed 920-page policy blueprint and transition plan organized by The Heritage Foundation and a coalition of over 100 conservative organizations. It aims to provide a roadmap for a conservative administration to swiftly overhaul the federal government, with a focus on consolidating executive power, dismantling the "administrative state," and implementing far-right policies.
Key Aspects of Project 2025:
Goal: The primary aim is to reshape the executive branch by replacing thousands of civil servants with political loyalists, aiming to "institutionalize Trumpism" and ensure federal agencies serve a conservative agenda.
Four Pillars: The project is based on four main components: a policy agenda ("Mandate for Leadership"), a personnel database for vetting staff, a training center (Administration Academy), and a 180-day playbook for immediate action.
Unitary Executive Theory: It relies on an interpretation that the president has absolute control over the entire executive branch, including traditionally independent agencies like the Department of Justice (DOJ), the FBI, and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Policy Recommendations: The plan covers a wide range of issues, including:
Immigration: Mass deportations, ending birthright citizenship, and dismantling the asylum system.
Abortion: Restricting abortion access nationwide, including using the Comstock Act to stop the mailing of abortion medication and revoking FDA approval of mifepristone.
Climate/Energy: Eliminating climate change references from federal policies, abolishing the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and increasing oil and gas production.
Education: Abolishing the Department of Education, promoting school choice, and cutting federal funding for schools with certain curricula.
Civil Rights: Eliminating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and rolling back LGBTQ+ rights protections.
Implementation Status: While former President Trump distanced himself from the project during the 2024 campaign, calling some ideas "abysmal," analysis has shown that many of its proposals align with his agenda, and several of its architects were involved in his subsequent administration. By early 2026, reports indicated that a significant portion of the recommended actions were already being implemented, including immigration crackdowns and the dismantling of the Department of Education.
Critics, including the ACLU and various democratic organizations, have characterized the plan as authoritarian and a threat to democratic norms, arguing it would consolidate power, weaken checks and balances, and erode civil liberties."
