Himalayan magnitude flood in Nepal

Many are missing and presumed dead. This is really disturbing to watch. Biggest flood I ever saw.

Like an avalanche, they can take out hundreds or even thousands. My condolences to the people there..

Latest count is over 1500 still missing, nearly 400 confirmed dead.

700 of the missing are tourists, including dozens of Americans.

Terrible disaster! No warning?

Apparently, a melting & shrinking glacier high up suddenly collapsed, sending ice, water, and mud

racing down the mountain through villages, homes, and a border crossing station. It swept away hundreds of people who are now missing and outright killed upwards of 400 people.

So, GLOBAL WARMING caused it. There are thousands more melting glaciers that can do the same or far worse! No early warning system would have saved those at the border crossing or in the villages of the valleys because there is no way to evacuate quickly.

Expect more of the same!
