I think, based on something I read, that when they are being taught to hunt, the kits are most often seen at dawn and dusk.

I will see if I can nag my daughter into getting the right camera lens out to see if we can get a pic next time.

The mama is a red fox...so I assume the babies are as well but it was too dark to determine fur color - however, the mama fox roams the area and has even been in my backyard. Which, was a bit un-nerving actually, worried she thought my dog was a meal.

Now that the fields around me have been developed, I do not get to hear the coyotes at night anymore - so I wonder how soon the fox population will re-locate.

As far as I am concerned - now is a good time to move really...even though it is stressing me out...but it is all changing here.
