Here's a picture taken from my mother's (RIP) bedroom window of our backyard and pond where the Canadian Geese I've occasionally posted about, Fred and Ethel, would show up every spring and hang out on the pond., entertaining me. The yard actually slopes right down into the pond and they'd eat/feed there and would sometimes come on up close to the house. We were surrounded by woods and lots of wildlife, including tortoises. Good memories.
