Not ever in nearly thirty years have I seen this type of mushroom pop up on the property. At first I thought it was a golf ball laying out there - but when I got close to it - realized it was an odd shaped mushroom. Because of it's weird appearance, I tried to look up pics of poisonous white mushrooms and they all look alike to me on the computer view.

Regardless, I am going to remove it because I don't want my dog or anyone else's to mess with it.

But, out of curiosity...anyone know their mushrooms and specifically the 'unsafe' ones???
