Mushroom ID...because AI just isn't cutting it

Not ever in nearly thirty years have I seen this type of mushroom pop up on the property. At first I thought it was a golf ball laying out there - but when I got close to it - realized it was an odd shaped mushroom. Because of it's weird appearance, I tried to look up pics of poisonous white mushrooms and they all look alike to me on the computer view. Regardless, I am going to remove it because I don't want my dog or anyone else's to mess with it. But, out of curiosity...anyone know their mushrooms and specifically the 'unsafe' ones??? Sigh...I will have to trudge around the property because where there is one... Thank you for the info COINS!!!
