First attempt gets a little leeway but my opinion is that if the flavor's a winner, then it goes in the second attempt category to tweak and improve overall. I bet it turns out great. Remember your bacon-wrapped Chicken Bombs? You even did a video. I tried making them 3 times before I gave up...once in the oven and twice on the Charcoal Weber (cooking over indirect heat like your instructions said.) With all 3 attempts the chicken was dry to the point of being inedible. Maybe it's time to pull up your video and try again.
