...I know a guy who does live in an older mobile home on a few acres of land. It is in good shape and he has done a lot of work on it. He drives a pickup he bought new last year. Everything he owns is either paid for or the payments are low. He worries about nothing. He can quit any time and live on social security, retirement and his savings without missing a beat. He says that living below his means is the secret to his happiness. He doesn't do without anything that is important to him and he does not worry about much.
