It's not you, JS. You obviously know what you're doing when it comes to vegetable gardening. That has been proven, hands down, by the pictures of the beautiful variety of vegetables from your garden you have posted here throughout several years.

I believe you have many corn growing challenges from living in the desert region of our country that most other regions don't have. No matter how diligent and attentive you are, there are just too many negative desert weather variables getting in your way. The research I've done on your corn dilemma confirms this. Your 'green thumb' is something to be proud of...screw the corn growing.
