Hey, Folks.... Just thought I'd drop by and let you know I'm still above ground.. Although, it's not looking real good. On top of the Stage-4 cancer, I now have heart issues. I had a heart attack a few months ago and they decided to put 4 stents in my main artery instead of risking open-heart surgery.
Anyway, it's nice to see you guys still posting back and forth. I sure miss some of the old posters - like Undergrad (UG). He was quite a guy. Very intelligent and always congenial. Not many of you remember Packy (who Grumpy always called "Pacobell"). Packy was also was very smart. He told me once that Undergrad was a professor at some college back east (George Washington Univ?). He also told me that UG served as a Captain with some Artillery unit in Nam (something he said he learned from SCULLY).
I always got a kick out of UG's infatuation with Stevie Nicks. I have to admit, she was a hot little number!
Packy served with the 1st Cav when they fought the NVA in the la Drang Valley in '65. (Remember the movie, "We Were Soldiers"?)
By the way, I see Hot Lips Houlihan is still posting... Hi Dara. ;-)
Anyway, I hope all you guys are doing well, I'll see you again sometime.
