That corn on the cob sounds so very very good! They have been putting the sweet corn stands up around town again but I haven't purchased any yet.

I think I am going to make pork chops in the slow cooker tomorrow...maybe. Depends on if the high is 107 or higher (real temperature) and apparently there are storms building up in the northwest but if it pushes the moisture south then our heat index may break a record...so the news person says. Gah!

No one is hungry tonight - it is too damn hot! Probably nibble on sliced apples and cheese and maybe pretzels.
