Good morning Dara! I've been up and doing what I normally do. It's 76 outside, 71 inside and a shower should be here in about an hour. Doesn't matter, I'm inside.

So you just had to start shouting and wake everyone else up, right?

Good Morning COINS!!! It is in the 60's here but HUMID. Not as humid as your area probably...but humid.

So...if the temp does a giddy up and reaches 80 by 1030-ish...I am going water walking. lol

I really am...it just makes me laugh to even type it.

Oh - and I got a picture of an owl for you - took it Saturday evening. But it was into the sunset - you can tell its an owl but it is a 'shadowy' pic.

Have not seen the fox or her kits again...yet.

I resorted to taking pain killers again last night.... taking that tumble set it off..

...I had one of those 4 wheeled walkers with a seat. I sat down and it started rolling and - just as the folks from physical therapy said would happen - you don't think to grab those brakes. I rolled off the side of the sidewalk and crashed. Well, I don't think I did anything but irritate the knee and the wife but it scared me. The walker is broken, I am a lot more gun shy about moving around and I am back on the pain killers temporarily.

Never been on ski's. Never will either.

and have supervision when you are operating it! Do you have a fitness center near you that has a lazy river? You should see if they offer water walking. It would be so great for your knee - very low impact. But a fabulous workout walking against the current!

Be careful and take care of yourself!

and it is great fun! Good workout too! Adults only THANK GOD! Otherwise you'd probably see me make the paper because I don't suffer the chit from out of control children.

I'm not as stable on my feet as I use to be. I'd end up face down and floating downstream.

because it has been a minute or two since I have done this...and it is going to have to get much warmer outside before I will get into that cold cold water. I love to swim...my whole life I have loved the water.

There was a time for me too. Swimming holes all over down here. Now they're all gone, private land and hunting clubs.

I have the standard walker with only two wheels and those rubber bumpers on two legs...

...that the nurses and physical therapists told us to use. I guess I will follow instructions for a while.

For goodness sake, TEXRA, please do be careful. They give you those stand up silver, tennis ball footed walkers for a reason. I know, because like you, I have had hip replacement surgery. I am so glad you won't need a second replacement surgery on that knee. I have a friend who fell a week after her knee surgery and had to do it all over again. Hope you are all better soon and I hope you're done with the replacement thingie.
