Fry an egg. 78 here with humidity @ 79%. 73 inside humidity@ 47%. High of 93. No wind. Birds/squirrels fed. Mosquitos killed, Flag hanging outside. Possibility of light shower early. I'm good.

"But it's a dry heat." that will absolutely take your breath away....

...my wife once attended a tournament in Phoenix and the temperature was supposed to be about 110 degrees when she landed. Our heat indexes here were in the same range and people told her that because it was "dry heat" she would actually be more comfortable there than here.

The tarmac temperature was actually above the 110 ambient temperature. The stewardess said to be careful walking to the terminal because of extreme heat. When she walked out she said it was difficult to catch your breath because of the heat.

Whoever said it was okay because it was dry heat should have their privates roasted in dry heat to see if it's okay.

I should buy or build a sun oven. I know I have a 12"x12" Frensel Lense somewhere in my house. That would get the job done cooking meat.

I would call that a bad personal decision that resulted in a character building experience.
