Scared the shit out of me

I cut the lawn this morning and when I'm done, I always take the mower to the recycle bin and rinse the grass clipping directly into it. As I was doing that, I heard some thumping and thought to myself that is weird. Then a rat came screaming out from the flooding and then right back in digging its way underneath the pile.

I'll put some rat poison out, but if you were a rat, would you rather eat rat poison or kitchen and garden scraps?

Mix 4 tablespoons of Jiffy cornbread with around 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Put it would in a lid near his coming and going. A Rat can't burp or pass gas. He'll just die, quick.

The closest thing I have to Jiffy cornbread is corn meal or bisquick. I just checked in the garage, and I don't even have any rat poison. I'm too damn lazy to go to any store today.

You can mix the baking soda with peanut butter or anything a rat will eat. The bait doesn't matter, the soda is what kills him.
