My former neighbors brought me some freshly dug red potatoes from their farm this morning. You can see the dirt that's still on them. Lucky me.

Six of them will be used for a small bowl of potato salad. The rest are going to be cut in half and cooked in a pot of green beans with a ham steak cut into chunks. It's a one-pot meal my mother made when we were kids. She'd also put a little bacon grease into the pot and made cast-iron cornbread to go with it. Umm-ummm good.

LOL Nailed it. Actually, you did, the six smallest for the potato salad - the four largest for the pot of green beans and ham. The markings are way cool. 😎
