Dan O's Walmart 'Great Value' frozen chicken wings

He says they're the best wings he's ever had. Not sure what the price of Peanut Oil is these days but suspect you'll probably come out close to even by not buying that many fresh wings. Plus you can also re-use the peanut oil. There's even a way to clean it after each use.

I buy some Great Value products but not a lot... You have to watch...

...My wife likes the precooked bacon. Great Value brand is the cheapest BUT you have to check the weight on the box. Great Value is 2.1 ounces. Hormel is 2.5 ounces in the same size box and cheaper per ounce and the larger Family Pack box of Hormel is actually the least expensive on a cost per ounce basis.

Focus - TEXRA - focus. I think we need to stick to the G.V. Frozen Wings in the video for now, don't believe the bacon would work very well.

His recipes/cooking methods are usually on the mark but I've never cooked my frozen ones that way. I thaw them, marinate them (usually with a dry rub of my choice of seasonings) and cook them in the oven with my oven pan with the slit dripping rack. They always turn out great.

You know what...I'm betting he's mainly promoting his Dry Ranch and Lemon Pepper seasonings. I seriously doubt that Great Value frozen wings are "the best wings he's ever had."

Observation: Don't be a DumbAss.

I boil chicken before grilling or baking it. It just seems better that way...
