The demise of these transmitters is part of the history of radio for many of us. What the BBC and other licenced radio did or didn't do is just as relevant in history as what the 'Pirates' did.
I'm surprised there's so much fuss over the demise of BBC's lousiest 'national' network. I only wish I had some customers for the DX50s that are now redundant and will likely be scrapped. Hope they save the PA modules - they are now almost $400 each. (Have you no room for a DX down the garden Ken?)
