Thanks Mike and Paul, it is a bit of a mystery. I'd already done some comparisons with the likely candidates and did wonder whether it might have been another potential Radio Delmare vessel, although the years mentioned by Helmut would exclude that.
The things that caught my attention were the Panamanian flag flying high on the rear mast of an anchored ship, the lack of any apparent fishing related gear and the (albeit basic) antenna.
Perhaps we'll never find out what the vessel was doing there, but it would be interesting to at least try to positively ID the ship. Whilst similar to the mentioned Grimsby trawler Tiberian, there are some differences that I think would rule that out:

That was raised in the Radio Trefpunt thread about the slides.
Helmut "I vaguely remember photographing this ship because it looks like a radio ship. And then there were rumors that a new radio ship had been spotted off the coast of Scheveningen. It was summer 73 or 74, too long ago."
Subsequent discussion eliminated the De Hoop ships, the Jeanine, the Magdelena and the Hendrik Jan, a ship for an offshore radio project that never came on air.
