Dave, I misread it at first, it says the "Permission to broadcast at more than 4 KW has recently been declined by Ofcom" but I can't find another source ![]() The 4Kw increase is what was previously approved. ![]() Article mainly about the Solar power system, as an aside it says the power increase to 4kW has been declined by Ofcom. https://radiotoday.co.uk/2023/06/former-pirate-station-radio-caroline-goes-green-with-solar-power/ ![]() Yes, the country is in a bigger mess, than the politicos will ever admit - I've just lost my NHS dentist - it's now "go private, or go away". If "National insurance" was a business, it would be prosecuted for not delivering on it's premiums I suppose a lot of this, is down to the Pandemic - but not all of it. But yes Freddy, I had similar dealings to you regarding my Mum - but it was in the 1990s - not quite as bad then, I did have a very helpful social worker too, bless him. ![]() I was thinking along the lines of a month too. And yeah dealing with both local & national government bodies has always been a nightmare, but it's even worst now that everything has just about ceased to work in this country. Sadly my mother was forced into a dementia care home back in March, and dealing with the likes of social services, the DWP and Court of Protection is both time consuming and extremally bloody frustrating. I can just about cope with it, having a background in running businesses, I feel for those that don't have the sort of experience I do. ![]() Knowing a little of the Civil Service they won't hurry, It can depend on things like some senior bod signing it off - if he/she is on their holls - it can take some time. Personally, my guess would be not before this time next month at the earliest - why not all have a guess, & who's closest gets a prize from Peter Moore ![]() So, does anyone know roughly when OFCOM will make their decision, now the consultation period has ended? |
