I sowed the seed about maybe calling the thread to a halt as I felt that we were in danger of discussing the pros and cons of a living person who was unlikely to have the opportunity of replying and this board could then be seen as being like 'the other place'.
Also because the vast majority of those making comments (including myself) had no knowledge of what Neil did or didn't do, other than hearsay.
If Dave M did close the thread as a result of my comment, then I have no problem if he wishes to open it for posting. Previous MessagePrevious Message

TBH I feel the same.
Thread started by 'ADMIN', with perfectly reasonable replies, no real attacks on Gates as such, beyond comments above him not being a great DJ, as per many over the years on Caroline, and reference to him being bitter, which was the subject of the opening post of that thread.
