There's a crossover between the two sites and us anoraks usually frequent the same places. I'm sure Neil would have expressed a point somewhere else if he was that bothered.
At least it got some talking on here, however I find this and the other place have very little to talk about as it's been said before. The same for Digispy too.
Not really one for making statements to say I'm off, although I have in the pass mentioned I wouldn't post on the other place. It's the usual throwaway comment people make when they're annoyed about something. However the written comment is rather unforgiving.

I sowed the seed about maybe calling the thread to a halt as I felt that we were in danger of discussing the pros and cons of a living person who was unlikely to have the opportunity of replying and this board could then be seen as being like 'the other place'.
Also because the vast majority of those making comments (including myself) had no knowledge of what Neil did or didn't do, other than hearsay.
