As much as I'm in favour of a bit of people power, I don't think marching on the Forum in Norwich city centre (where Radio Norfolk is based) will change BBC policy. That is decided at national level and those in Norwich are only puppets doing what's instructed from on high. Well done to this (now former) presenter for having the guts to make a statement on live radio though and getting people talking about it. As she says, if the BBC don't do what the public wishes, what's the point in a state broadcaster that ignores the people who fund it ? Many others around the world just pump out their own agenda though so the BBC is not that untypical in that respect.
