Also, I suppose Roger is correct, despite the hazards of offshore Radio, was it actually more dangerous, than driving a car every day, for a living for example?
There is of course another factor, the long term exposure to a strong RF field. It could have caused cancer perhaps?
But this is really all academic - it's really all long past history now. Many of us remember the fun that came out of it - but not forgetting the huge efforts to keep it going, mostly outside the law. By those such & Neil, but there were many others - Nigel Harris, Tony Alan, Roger Matthews, Peter Chicago + many others + of course, PM & others on land.
