I've sent Alan Beech an email, though I imagine he is aware. It is still on 4kw with the fault, an hour after you reported it first.

The 648 transmitter is spitting and crackling again so expect it to be switched over to the lower power backup at any moment
Sounds similar to the previous problem. I think Alan did warn that this could happen until a more permanent fix can be made. Awful timing on a North weekend too but at least there’s the back up rig.
