You may be right STx - I must admit, the popularity of vinyl recently surprised me. I agree about DAB - unless your not moving about & in a well served area, it's a waste of radio space. I think adding a few more KW to 648, would make it much more available to more of southern England. Especially once Droitwich 5live is repaired. ![]() Yes leave it as it is. I am sure that 'content is king', not kb/s. If I like listening to a particular station, I dont care what platform its on. A well modulated AM signal is a nice thing to listen to, far better that DAB that farts its way across country and often disappears completely for long periods of time. I can put up with a bit of occasional AM noise. I predict a bit of a renaisance for AM in the same way as vinyl has made a come back. I reckon heritage stations will become popular on AM providing Ofcom allows them. (or even if it doesnt) ![]() ![]() who am I, but for what it's worth I would rather see this band left as is. Agree Like the green land that some see as a housing scheme, when there is nothing wrong in leaving it as is...... Apart from the shortage of housing! |
