Robbie Owen's Juke Box Drive In Sunday August 11th on Corby Radio has a 2 hour recorded as live feature 8 to 10pm on the Story of Radio 270, a conversation between Robbie and me about it's history from when it was first announced until closedown and the later aborted sale of the Oceaan 7 to Radio Caroline when I briefly met Ronan onboard.

As I've posted online before my Dad, manager of the National Provincial Bank Whitby, was good friends with one of their directors Tony Rylands. The money their shareholders invested was transferred to two Panamanian companies, one owned the ship, the other the equipment. That was done through his bank. Plenty of jingles, audio, adverts, promos and records played by Radio 270 are included.
