I am glad in fact that I am barred from that board. Removes the temptation to ridicule them directly.

Some fool on the Garry forum has floated a baseless rumour that Caroline is in discussion with Nigel Farage. I have noticed that when people use phrases such as ' sources indicate' or 'word on the street is ', they are making the story up.
But there have been 22 or so ' opinions' on a non story, while Rob Day has jumped in to say that Farage is a personal pal. How about that !
I am reminded of long ago when circumstances required the dictator and mass murderer Joseph Stalin to be viewed in a better light than he deserved. The Americans began to call him Uncle Joe.
In Parliament when Germany had suddenly turned on Russia, Winston Churchill was asked why he had softened his stance regarding Stalin. He could have replied ' my enemies enemy is my friend '. But more amusingly he said :
' I have to say that if Hitler invaded Hell, I would stand before this house and make favourable references to the Devil '.
