But I think you have interpreted the matter wrong Kev D. Kevin T gave Ray's Flashback show full promotion and reminded listeners that there were two live broadcasts coming from the ship that day.
From my position I did not want to make too big a thing out of this, we may, or may not, do it again.
As for more/extra visitor weekends it was a nice idea of mine but the admin and additional staffing, fuel & maintenance is too big an ask right now.

Kevin Turner mentioned that Ray Clark was at the blunt end of the Ross in the studio doing his Flashback show live -- "But you don't want to go there !".
It would be great to have "Flashback" relayed occasionally on Manx Radio Gold 1368khz.
Great atmosphere aboard the ship as always .

If this involves putting Flashback on the Ross for a weekend & using 648 as well, sounds a good idea. Especially if Flashback Jocks, such as Barry James are involved. Worth a try I would think - it seems with it not being too long, before the Ross is dry docked, make best use of the ship. Previous Message
Hi,
We tried something from Revenge on Sunday that was not announced in advance in case it did not work.
But while Kevin Turner was able to broadcast from Studio 2 for Caroline North, Ray Clark used the aft studio ( Overdrive Studio ) to at the same time send his Caroline Flashback programme live from the boat.
There was a glitch of a few seconds at mid day when the feed was switched over, but aside from that all worked fine.
Don't know what we will do have proved the feasibility, but visitor trips to the boat are so booked up that we could ??? reduce the backlog with the odd Flashback weekend or a ' Flashback Friday ' Early days and we are in any case flat out busy, but something for me to consider.
