I wonder if any of you can remember a boat trip out to the Mi Amigo in the late 70's? The trip was on a flat bottomed boat called the Captain Cook and left from Tilbury at about 8.00am in the morning. A mention of Chris Cary (Spangles Muldoon) on here recently reminded me of this trip, Chris Cary was among about 80 of us on the trip and Chris told us wonderful stories about Caroline etc. When we reached the Mi Amigo the sea was a bit rough and we could not get too close to her so some of the people from the Mi Amigo launched an inflateable and came over to us! The inflateable was a bit under inflated and the front kept folding back! We got back to Tilbury about midnight, a long but wonderful day

I found a "Facebook" video of a trip to the Mi Amigo and I was wondering if anybody on here can confirm if it was the Captain Cook trip or not. here is a link to the video -
