Colin was panel operator when Simon Dee, John Junkin, Carl Conway and others recorded programmes to be broadcast when Caroline started. Caroline didn't have their own studios then. He was the first DJ on Atlanta presenting the breakfast show.
When Caroline used the Cheeta 2 following the grounding of the Mi Amigo Colin went onboard to take care of the fitting of the studios and equipment for the transfer from FM to AM transmissions on 199 together with two techicians. He says those two months were his happiest at sea.
Found a photo I can't remember seeing of him before with Ronan and Britt Wadner.

Nonsense!
Colin worked for Caroline South, Radio England, Luxembourg and the BBC. Apart from that he wasn’t very well known!
Also did a lot to document the history of offshore radio.

Another sad demise.
I think he was not very well known, I never heard him, or Atlanta, and only saw him being interviewed for a programme at Woodbridge, Suffolk, where they used to sail to the ship apparently. RIP.
