When I lived in the Bay Area, a trip to the big city was a real treat.
When I flew out from Boston to put together the sound system at Studio West, I enjoyed San Francisco too. I stayed in an apartment on Cathedral Hill. They say Studio West was the best sound and lighting in San Francisco at the time. https://www.facebook.com/groups/103498417933/ Theater sound with massive floor-mounted sub-woofers, and super tweeters. It was like selling ice cubes to Eskimos, selling earthquakes to San Franciscans. (See the earthquake brace, a huge I-beam clad with brass.) The attorney for Studio West was Willie Brown, Kamala's old flame.  Studio West front. This building survived the 1906 earthquake.
