I thought he was dead, like my dear freedom warrior Randall Robinson..
Never met him but he was making noise in New York city for a while with the likes of Sam Anderson (brilliant in maths), Manning Marable etc..
Unfortunately they based their struggles on class analysis(socialist/marxist?) vs racial analysis and Black folks weren't feeling that approach..

Good to know that he's still alive and that black commentator is still doing stuff.
Still think America's socialist movement needs a couple new black young blood like Fiona Lali of UK.
