Bill Fletcher jr., long-time socialist activist and union organizer, has written a short article on how we ought to go forward in the upcoming dark days of the Trump presidency. He reflects back on the Nixon years and the moments of intense repression. He takes us back to the murder and drugging of Panther leader Fred Hampton. And to my surprise, a picture he chose with the article shows an acquaintance of mine seated at the same table with brother Fred, Mike Klonsky who is a long time Chicago activist. Check it out. Surely there will be more moments' of intense repression starting in January when Trump returns meaner and more experienced than his last go around.
