Yes, the media is very derisive about independent Black leaders, like Idi Amin. They did all they could to characterize Amin negatively in the Western media. Each of the 54 countries of Africa should be a state, actually.

I suppose that will eventually happen, though. It's a matter of African media beginning to frame the continent more wholistically.
