I'm not very big on Black History Month but given present circumstances, I could tolerate it.
My thing is, Black History should be a family thing and a closed community thing, given how white folks are reluctant to accept the truth of the Black experience. But then, given how messy the structure of the Black family is, there's no choice but to tolerate Black History Month as is.
