You are NOt wrong at all, Chicago was more hostile to King than Memphis, TN, where he was assassinated. No doubt!!!!!

Mr TheOne, I'm surprised you didn't know that bit of history..
If I remember correctly, Dr King once blasted the insidious kind of hate & racism he encountered in Chicago (up north?) compared to the South etc.
I maybe wrong but I don't think so🤔😕
