If y'all think they treated the Black Seminoles badly, the Lumbee natives (North carolina?) were treated worst..
They are mostly a mixed/mulatto group of folks who desperately want to be recognized as Native Americans, not black or mixed-race..
The Lumbee remind me of the mulattoes of Haiti who hated the African part of their identity. Sad.
