RIP Sylvester Stewart(his real name btw). I think the first time I saw him was in late 70s (78-79) performing on the show soul train.

A very talented musician(photo below), I like him, and like his dressing style. Indeed besides the music his dress sense was a way of expressing himself through clothing choices.
