He was 82 yrs old..
Dude was a genius in terms of music, lyrics, funk, etc etc..
Sly & The Family Stone was boss!!
One of the best musical groups EVAR!
MAY SLY STONE REST IN PEACE IN A BEAUTIFUL MUSICAL HEAVEN. AMEN

And a seriously integrated band..
They were good, very very good, with talented musicians.

So many hits..dude was so legit and influenced soo many like Prince etc etc..
Then he got hooked on drugs and never recovered...RIP.

RIP Sylvester Stewart(his real name btw). I think the first time I saw him was in late 70s (78-79) performing on the show soul train.

A very talented musician(photo below), I like him, and like his dressing style. Indeed besides the music his dress sense was a way of expressing himself through clothing choices.
